Construction and Piling Equipment Pte Limited (CAPE)
Construction and Piling Equipment Pte Limited (CAPE), a subsidiary
of CAPE Group Ltd, was started in Singapore in January 1999 with
the intention of operating in the three business sectors of Offshore
Oil and Gas, Onshore Construction Equipment supply, and Pump rental
and sales.
The Company Management Team was appointed from personnel experienced
and active in these areas for many years. The Managing Director
was Mr S.Hartog, who in 1988 started and for 11 years managed a
similar Company which had rapidly grown and established a quality
reputation throughout Asia. The Business Development Director was
Ms Lucy Yeo, who before joining CAPE had gained 10 years experience
in these same business areas. The "Asian crash" seriously
affected all the business areas in which the Company operated, but
even in those difficult years the combination of good management
and quality products enabled the Company to prosper.
